REMSO has designed poking machine for Iron and Steel Furnace, Aluminum holding furnaces and in other hot metal furnace. Poking Machine is the special equipment for Induction Furnace to push the SCRAP in crucible of Induction furnace. This increase the heating and melting cycling time. It is a hydraulically operated machine of sturdy construction for use in steel plants. The linkages are designed to facilitate digging into the crust of scrap metal and push it into crucible.
The design incorporates vertical pushing with telescopic boom horizontal rake movement and a large bearing base for slew movement.

Remso Hydraulic poker features an innovative, rugged design to help minimize time-consuming tasks on the melt deck, improve furnace utilization and maintain the integrity of Initiated metal castings.
The automated Hydraulic Pushing device supplied by REMSO CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD eliminates the need for workers to stand in dangerous areas in front of the Furnace for the purpose of Poking Scrap. The Scrap Poking process is standardized to ensure reproducible operation and results. The Poker Arm system is mounted on a swiveling device which optimizes space requirements in front of the Induction Furnace.
