OPERATION DESCRIPTION

General

The Furnace Tending Vehicle is used for carrying out the following tending and maintenance operations on the holding furnaces in the cast house.

v Skimming-off slag skulls of the ladle mouth and Dross from the liquid metal Surface.

v Stirring the liquid metal, alloying metals and fluxes perfectly.

v Dosing of degassing in the liquid metal with special tool.

v Demolishing of old refractory brick lining.

v Chipping out the top of steel ladle in 1000°C.

v Destroying/ Demolition of the refractory bricks of steel and cast iron ladles.

v Removing and fixing of the porous plug located on the bottom of steel ladle in hot condition.

v Changing the inner cup of steel ladle in hot condition.

v Stirring the liquid metal to mix alloying metals and fluxes perfectly.

v Chiseling and removing the Slag and Dross built up on the furnace lining and furnace hearth, de

bricking using special breaking attachments.

v Mouth Jam Cleaning in hot conditions.

The furnace tending vehicle is equipped with under carriage mounted on crawler with flat shoes. The upper – structure is attached with a 2 section telescopic boom with various tending attachment shall be rigged for above mentioned operations

Remso Slag Destroying Manipulator is designed for the destruction, demolition and destroying of very hard materials, such as slags, concrete etc. This equipment works particularly in foundries, in soaking pit furnaces, foundry ladles etc. The advantage of this manipulator is that it may work in the hardest conditions such as radiating heat, dust etc.

This equipment is used for carrying out following operations in the furnaces in metallurgical industries.

Ø Skimming-off slag skulls of the ladle mouth and Dross from the liquid metal Surface.

Ø Chipping out the top of steel ladle in 1000°C.

Ø Chipping put the slag hang to the bottom and body of the steel ladle in more than 1000°C.

Ø Destroying/ Demolition of the refractory bricks of steel and cast iron ladles.

Ø Removing of the porous plug located on the bottom of steel ladle in hot condition.

Ø Changing the inner cup of steel ladle in hot condition.

Ø Stirring the liquid metal to mix alloying metals and fluxes perfectly.

Ø Chiseling and removing the Slag and Dross built up on the furnace lining and furnace hearth, debricking using special breaking attachments.
